I'm not very flexible, can I still do yoga?

Thinking you're not flexible enough to do yoga is like being too dirty to have a shower.  Yoga helps promote flexibility.  Start from wherever you are.

I've got arthritis. Can I do yoga?

The gentle classes and chair classes would be perfect for you.

What do I need to bring to class?

Props help us feel more comfortable in so many poses.  They aren't essential, but they are nice to have.  Here are a few that  we typically use: 

  • a mat
  • 2 blocks (thick books or large can could work)
  • a strap ( a scarf, belt or tie)
  • a bolster (Tightly rolled up blankets or towels) Note:  we use this infrequently
  • a cushion to sit on ( a stack of blankets or towels)

What should I wear?

For both yoga class and Thai Massage, you should dress comfortably in clothes that allow you to forget what you're wearing and focus on what your body is experiencing.
